A1 is TOXA, encoding an HC-toxin efflux carrier; H1 is HTS1
encoding a 570-kDa non-ribosomal peptide synthetase; C is TOXC encoding
a beta subunit of fatty acid synthase; D is TOXD encoding a putative
dehydrogenase; E is TOXE encoding a pathway-specific transcription
factor; F is TOXF encoding a putative branched chain amino acid
aminotransferase; G is TOXG encoding an alanine racemase.
TOXA is tightly clustered with HTS1, and TOXF
is tightly clustered with TOXG .
All of these genes (except probably TOXE itself) require TOXE
for
expression.
